The all Nigerian nationals in diaspora Togo pay a courtesy visit to the Nigerian head of mission, Ambassador Joseph Olusola Iji. The president of the Nigerians in Diaspora Togo and west African region Hon.Dabur Amos on behalf of his executive and the entire Nigerians in diaspora welcome the ambassador and present the challenges faced by Nigerians in Togo and in the west African region at large.
The ANNID president submitted a letter addressed to the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria PMB, tittle: request for the implementation of the Nigerians in Diaspora voting Right.2: Letter to the Nigerian minister of finance, requesting for a centre of the CBN-bvn in Togo for the west African region. 3: letter to the minister of interior Nigeria, requesting for a Nigeria passport center in Togo. 4: letter of formal intent to collaborate with a Nigerian government university to establish an off campus in Togo for the west African region. 5. A formal reports to the ambassador about the Nigerian inmates in Togo.
A report of the activities of ANNID Togo was given to the ambassador with the videos and photos of different event including, independence celebration, seminars organized by ANNID to sensitize Nigerians about the laws of Togo and their obligations, strategies put in place by the Nigerians in Diaspora to control human trafficking, the issue of the Nigerians dead bodies still in Togo mortuary and proposed solutions, and the Nigerian seized cars.
The trophy for the Nigerians in Diaspora independence peace and unity cup was given to the ambassador for the 2018 Edition. The general calendar for ANNID projects and programs were given to the ambassador.
The ambassador was overwhelmed and applauded leadership acumen of the Diaspora president, welcomed the 26 men and women powerful delegation,promised to forward all the letters to the appropriate offices and assured the delegation that his office is opened and He will carry along the Nigerians in Diaspora Togo in anything and support her activities and said, what was given to him was a confirmation that ANNID is a project oriented organization that Nigeria will entrust and work with.
At the end of the section the head of the mission hosted the Nigerians in Diaspora delegates and family group pictures were followed..by Mr Ben Ezenwata jnr.the chief media officer ANNID Togo.
